Key Lime Pie


Equipment

  • Oven
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Can opener

Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 14oz cans of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup key lime juice
  • zest of 2 limes
  • 7 egg yolks

Crust

Just buy a premade 9 inch graham cracker crust

Steps

Prepare the filling

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Put all filling ingredients into a bowl and whisk them together until fully incorporated
  3. Pour the filling into the pie crust
  4. Bake for 25 minutes
  5. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for however long you like
  6. Serve with whipped cream
